At some point during a Hollywood Studios day, the next thing on the itinerary needs to be sitting down and eating something.
My personal pick starts with a giant pretzel and two cheese sauces. But a snack stop and a full meal solve different problems. Here are three options to consider, depending on what your group needs.
BaseLine Tap House: my pretzel-and-beer stop
The pretzel is huge and fresh, and I get two cheese sauces. Add beer on tap and you understand why this one made my Disney carbs list.
Disney calls it a Bavarian pretzel and describes mustard and beer-cheese fondue alongside it. My extra sauce is my order, not a promise that two are included. Ask about availability and any additional charge when ordering.
BaseLine is a bar-lounge on Grand Avenue with small bites, California beers and nonalcoholic choices. Disney also describes a shaded outdoor terrace. Think snack-and-sip pause rather than assuming a full restaurant menu or guaranteed seating. Check BaseLine’s current menu.
ABC Commissary: when the group needs a meal
ABC Commissary is a quick-service option on Commissary Lane, and Disney lists mobile ordering. That makes it worth checking when you need to organize a meal around the rest of your park day.
This is a researched option, not a new tasting review from me. Look through the current menu with your group before committing, especially if everyone wants something different. Mobile ordering helps with ordering; it does not reserve your table. See ABC Commissary’s menu and details.
Docking Bay 7: keep your food stop in Batuu
If you are already exploring Galaxy’s Edge, Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo is another quick-service meal option with mobile ordering. Disney describes seating inside the cargo hangar and in an outdoor courtyard.
It is a practical place to investigate before crossing the park just for lunch. I am not ranking its dishes here or claiming a recent meal. Check the menu, available pickup times and seating conditions on the day. See Docking Bay 7’s official information.
Choose the break before choosing the food
- Snack and a drink: start by looking at BaseLine.
- A quick-service meal around Commissary Lane: check ABC Commissary.
- A meal while exploring Galaxy’s Edge: check Docking Bay 7.
All three are inside Hollywood Studios, so valid admission is required and a park reservation may be needed depending on your ticket. Check current hours and menus in My Disney Experience. None of these suggestions guarantees a quiet table during a busy lunch rush.
What is your Hollywood Studios reset stop? And if your answer involves an extra cheese sauce, we already understand each other.
