Halloween calories don’t count. That is our completely unofficial position, and we are sticking to it.
Disney published its 2026 Halloween food guide on September 24, and our snack plans suddenly need more room. This is a menu watch list, not a taste-tested ranking. Here are a few treats that caught our attention.
Start with something pumpkin
The Pumpkin Sundae at Plaza Ice Cream Parlor brings together pumpkin gelato, spiced caramel, brittle, and festive sprinkles. Disney lists it for regular park hours as well as Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Pumpkin and caramel together? That is a convincing argument for leaving a little room after lunch.
A little drama with your dessert
Also on the list: the Maleficent Funnel Cake at Epic Eats, the Boneyard Cookies and Scream Sundae at Terra Treats, and the returning Ghost Cream Puff at ABC Commissary and Backlot Express.
Our approach is simple: pick the one you actually want, enjoy it, and leave the competitive snack marathon to somebody else. Unless your group wants to share. Sharing is how a watch list becomes a strategy.
Check the details before chasing a snack
The guide covers Halloween offerings through October 31. Check each item’s location and availability before visiting. A guide published this week does not mean every treat debuted this week, and party access is separate from regular park admission.
