Disney Springs This Weekend: Villains Photos, Vuori and What Is Coming Next

A villain photo stop, a new shop, and a slime-making experience on the way: Disney Springs has a few fresh reasons to wander this weekend. The important distinction is what you can do now and what is still coming.

The villains are ready for their close-up

Disney confirms that the immersive Disney PhotoPass Studio experience now includes settings inspired by Disney Villains, alongside Frozen and Toy Story. You will find the studio in the Marketplace between Arribas Brothers and Marketplace Co-Op.

No reservation is required, and there is no charge to have your photos taken. That does not mean the downloads are automatically free: you can purchase the pictures after linking them to your MyDisney account, or download them through your Memory Maker purchase.

Disney currently lists studio hours as 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Check the official studio page before heading over. No end date for the villains setting was given in the announcement.

Vuori opens October 16

According to Disney’s October 16 announcement, Vuori opens today in Town Center with performance apparel and everyday lifestyle clothing. If shopping is already part of your Springs plans, there is a new stop to explore.

Slime-making is coming, but not yet

Kawaii Slime Company will offer DIY slime customizing, with choices of scents, colors, textures and add-ins, plus squishies and sensory toys. Disney says it is opening soon. An opening date and activity prices were not provided, so keep this on the future-visit list rather than promising the kids a slime session this weekend.

Make it a Springs afternoon

The PhotoPass stop is the most useful addition to a no-park-ticket itinerary: something to do together, with a clear distinction between the photo session and the cost of keeping the pictures. Add shopping or a snack at your own pace.

And if your snack plans involve Six Ravens, my grilled cheese Coffyn favorite and Saturday celebration details are here. Eat it hot, and do not forget the sauce. That is what takes it over the top for me.

Which would get you to add a stop: villains photos, a new shop, or the future slime-making experience?
